Volunteering
It takes all of us
Each interaction with our Lifesong patients and their families counts. Every engagement makes an impact. Whether a co-worker or volunteer, they look to us to provide the compassionate, quality care and service they need—they deserve. Because, they matter.

Take the time to make a difference
For many people, the word “hospice” may bring thoughts of sadness, grief and loss. However, hospice care is not about giving up on life, but rather focusing on the quality of life. It’s caring, not curing.
Hospice is a type of care that provides support and comfort for those nearing the end of their life. The goal is to help people maintain their quality of life and manage symptoms related to their illness, rather than focusing on curative treatments. Hospice care providers help both individuals and their families make the most of their time together and ensure the person’s wishes and needs are respected.
At Lifesong, we honor our patients’ unique life, their legacy, their lifesong. Our team of nurses, caregivers and volunteers recognizes the interconnectedness of the physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of each person’s life, addressing all of these areas to support the overall well-being and comfort of the individual.
We gladly welcome your time and compassion to help serve our deserving patients. Simply complete an inquiry form below or contact us at 717-585-6687 or Volunteer@LifesongHospice.com.
